Welcome to Monaco, the traditional “jewel of the season” and everybody's favourite place to get somebody else to buy the drinks! After all the fly always and excitement in Spain it's nice to be back in Monaco, the history, the glamour, those amazing views and of course a rare Friday off to recover from Thursday night's Rascasse and street walk excitement.

So we draw the curtain on yet another long and tightly fought RunThatTrack season. Like the seasons before it, 2015 has continued to see our little F1 track running community breaking records and we’re sure this trend will continue into 2016...

So we've finally made it to the end of another F1 season, and what a season it has been! Although it still feels like the summer break was just a few weeks ago, with the Abu Dhabi race around the corner all thoughts are now on the Championship decider

Hello all, well what a difference a few weeks make. After the events in Japan and the new race in Sochi, a short stint at home is just what everybody needed, a bit of time with the family to relax and take stock before the final three races of the season. But as we arrive in the United States it’s difficult to know what to write. Austin is a great town and a fabulous venue, but with our friends from Marussia and Caterham missing this weekend it feels as though our little F1 world just got a lot smaller...

After a summer break that seemed all too short, welcome back to the real world..... I hope everybody enjoyed the few weeks off, from the Facebook and Twitter feeds it seems that a lot of people spent the break running marathons, participating in triathlons or getting married, so congratulations if you’re included in that group. Here at RTT HQ, the summer break was spent mainly between the beach (Biarritz, the only place where leaving the house you need sunglasses, sun cream and a waterproof jacket – take 2 and you’ll always need the third) and getting the RTT site ready for second half of the season.

The great Summer Shutdown is almost upon us, a chance to take some time off, relax, head to the beach, see the family and generally enjoy being somewhere other then trackside or in a hotel. Here at the RunThatTrack Technology Centre, we're using the time to update the site in preparation for RTT 2014 V2.....

In a season that has had just about everything so far, it's fitting that we head to beautiful Budapest for the wind down before the well deserved Summer Break. With all the racing over the past few weeks and months, a little R&R is just what everybody's looking forward to; and now it's just one more weekend to make it through before the family, the beach, beer and bbq's get some of the attention that they deserve, but not before we complete the final Group Run before the mid session interval.... That's right folks, it's Group Run time again!

The RunThatTrack inbox has literally been inundated with a single email regarding the Pointless Chart, I suspect the rain delayed session in Malaysia allowed a bit of time for some web surfing for those engineers bored of looking at the UBIMET weather feed....

So we've finally made it to Melbourne, not quite the land of sunshine as promised, but still not a bad place to begin the 2014 RunThatTrack (and of course F1) season. By about now the jetlag is starting to wear off, and the nights are being transformed from jetlag to...

Race 1 2014, Australia. Australia usually means great weather (except last year where it monsooned), friendly people, open air restaurants, a gentle circuit and the first Group Run of 2014! Those of you who with us last year in Australia may remember that we tried to stage the first Group Run of the season, it never rains in Melbourne right?...

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us....

The RunThatTrack concept was conceived over a few drinks at a bar during the 2009 season. Several events and bars later the idea had fully taken hold and grown into a world of its own. The idea was simple, take the simply peaceful and individual activity of running around the F1 tracks to a ridiculously crazy...
